Indigenous Community Member Businesses: An Indigenous Community Member Business refers to a business enterprise that is owned, controlled, and operated by a member or members of an indigenous community. These businesses are often embedded within their cultural context and community, contributing to local economic development, preserving traditional knowledge, and promoting self-sustainability.

  4. Third-Party Certified Diverse Owned Organizations: Businesses that are owned by individuals from diverse backgrounds (such as racial or ethnic minorities, women, LGBTQ+ individuals, etc.) and have been formally recognized as such by an independent, external entity.

  5. Self-declared Diverse Owned Organizations: Businesses owned by individuals from diverse backgrounds and self-identify as such but may not have formal certification.
